Schorf involves members of Speck and Mr.Hofer. In 2004 Schorf got an apology from a director of a modern art museum for having called the cops on them, because they nicely displayed that they ARE modern art. Schorf is the madman`s word for scab and scurf, which used to be a steady part of daily diet here in Switzerland before it got banned by the WHO for hygienic reasons.
With an uptempo mixture of lunatic speedcore, crushing mosh, jazzy arrangements and free improvisation, this noize-frenzy keeps your ears busy. The Schorf Big Band embraces a variety of electronical devices to produce the sound of horror - and sometimes further guests from the wide world of music. For their England tour though, Schorf was stripped down to a nasty duo.
