Not just one but two A Tree In A Field bands are on their way to this week-ends B-Sides Festival in Lucern. Be sure to be there as Flimmer and Antenna Tony Monorail will be there too, on Friday June 12th plus loads more of exciting music. The lovely folks that run the two-day festival put a lot of love into this so be sure to be there whatever the weather!

One more Mir. «Abandon Ship» is released as limited Japan Tour Edition. It captures the energy of one of the best MIR shows from 2008, featuring live versions of some tracks on the new album, along with nameless unreleased material.

MIR release their untitled second album (TREE025). Recorded in one day without overdubs, mixed & produced by Alex Buess (16-17, God, The Bug, Ice) and mastered by Weasel Walter (Flying Luttenbachers), this record is guaranteed to hit you like two fragments of space debris. On the head. In addition to the CD version, we can also offer you a limited edition as double 12" Maxi with handmade screenprint covers. We are not alone, and we have evidence: this is a co-release with Wallace Records and Savage Land. Available by end of July.

You might have noticed a new name showing up in the live section. Yes we welcome jews harp mad man Antenna Tony Monorail as a new member to the A Tree In A Field collective. Four tracks of this one-man band will be released on 7" vinly on February 2nd.
On the same day will be born, the Combineharvester – I Was A King split 7". It took us a long time to get this one done. But we think the wait was worth every second. Beautifully screenprinted artwork designed by Roy And The Devil's Motorcycle's Markus Stählin. The vinyl itself is special too, but we will let you see for yourself, after you've opened the sealed packaging...

Lonesome he felt. So he looked around. He looked around to see that there are other people around. People hitting drums and playing four strings. Just like he does. David plays drums im Flimmer. He has two friends that play Bass. They also play in Flimmer. There are many other bands that do the same. So he started gathering Bass & Drum bands around him. They brought along their songs. The result is a compilation of 24 tracks by 22 bands - more than an hour total playing time - from all around the globe.
This CD has been released in cooperation with Säurefabrik and Tocado Records. The beautiful cover has been designed by Caroline Singeisen.

Christmas is nigh and so is the season of giving. As you probably know we give away EPs, singles and complete albums as mp3 download and completely free of charge nevermind what time of the year. But we also want to let you know that IF you like the music you're leeching, and IF you think these artists should keep doing what they're doing, we've newly installed a PayPal donation button on the free download release pages. So if you want to express your sympathy towards our music by donating a bunch or two that will be highly appreaciated, and a fine snugg spot in music-heaven will be waiting for you… well maybe not quite. Flimmer's latest release «Business Punks Fuck Off», features an all-riffs-backwards version of the famous Dead Kennedys song. It's no coincidence, they decided to put it out on 7" Vinyl. If you spin the record backwards, not only you can hear the original version, but also a subliminal message that will make you run to the next pet shop and buy a dog house.

Party Manual - that's a crazy disco club and a bar driven exclusively by manpower: Some 10 people will ride on bikes to generate enough fuse for the soundsystem, lights, fridges etc, while you can enjoy a cool drink and shake yer booty. A funny article about the "7inch Stunt Record" spiced up yesterday`s edition of the local newspaper "Basler Zeitung", spelling the majority of the mentioned bandnames wrong.
