Stefanie Stauffacher

The band «Stefanie Stauffacher» was formed in 2016 and consists of Lara Stoll and Lukas Marty. Stoll, known from the German-speaking slam poetry and comedy scene, takes on a serious tone for once in this project. Her lyrics, written in various languages, flow in a stream of consciousness and attempt to capture feelings and inner states with words. This interplay between meaning and meaninglessness complements the soundscape composed and always orchestrated live by Lukas Marty.

Lukas Marty builds his beats and instrumentals with various analog synthesizers, digital shoeboxes, and other equipment that can be placed on a table. In a creative dialogue and interplay with Lara Stoll, they experiment until a song emerges that ‘figgt’ and ‘fäggt’.
