Daisy Boy

Aren’t we all a bit like flowers, connected underground, sticking our heads towards the sky and hoping for the best? Daisy Boy is about two flower kids finding each other, kissing each other and meditating gender politics at the same time, (whilst lying in a field of flowers). When Jacky saw Daisy with his bleached head of hair looking like the floral namesake himself, she puts the question forward, how much femininity can a cis-male procure, before toxic conformity puts it down? It’s about Daisy de Beauvoir, it’s about love, it’s a song about being yourself.
