In «Ires Gsicht» self-optimization is questioned as an act of feminist self-empowerment: «It’s her face. Everyone should do what they want—no one is being forced. ‘It’s my fucking face!’ she makes clear. Who’s going to argue with that?» There are no easy answers to the questions raised. Who’d disagree?
